POLITIK AN DEINER SEITE thrives on the commitment of many people. Together, we are fighting to ensure that Neukölln remains affordable, socially inclusive, free, and a great place to live—with affordable rents, strong neighborhoods, and policies that protect and strengthen social cohesion in our city. At the same time, it’s about defending our open and supportive urban community against those who seek to divide us and pit us against one another.

The campaign for the Berlin election on September 20, 2026, will determine how our city and our neighborhood develop in the coming years. Especially in our district—Gropiusstadt, Buckow Nord, and the northern part of the Blumenviertel—the far-right AfD now has a real chance of winning a direct seat. Tax Deductibility
Under Section 34g of the Income Tax Act (EStG), 50% of contributions to political parties, up to an annual amount of €1,650 (for jointly filed tax returns), may be directly deducted from your tax liability. Contributions and donations exceeding this amount, up to an additional €1,650 per year, are deductible as special expenses under Section 10b of the Income Tax Act (EStG).

Certificate for the Tax Office
For donations up to €200, the bank statement or the deposit slip confirmed by the bank serves as proof of donation for the tax office. Starting in 2021, the simplified donation receipt applies to amounts up to 300 euros (Section 50(4), Sentence 1, No. 2 of the Income Tax Implementation Regulation (EStDV)). Regardless of this regulation, we will issue a donation receipt. However, please be sure to include your first and last name as well as your address in the “purpose of payment” field when making the transfer.
For SPD members, your name and membership number are sufficient for identification.
